COVID-19 Update

To our clients and others in the industry:

Most of you are aware that COVID-19 is causing delays in our meetings, processes for permitting, and inspections and construction. The local building development departments are performing social distancing and have closed in person submissions. We are working diligently with these departments to find ways of communicating and submitting projects. We have started digital web meetings and out-of-building plan drop offs. In addition, inspectors are being cautious in the field. Construction has seen material shortages due to quarantines in warehouses and deliveries.

At LPA, we are taking the pandemic seriously. We are not closed and our clients’ project progression is a top priority. We have been rotating staff in the office as projects warrant. We are also working from home, working with county staff on submission protocol, meeting protocol, and permit approval / pick up protocol. This all may be frustrating and emotional at times, but everyone is doing their best to succeed and prosper. Stay healthy and take advantage of this unique situation.
